The quietrevolution qr5 is an elegant new vertical axis wind turbine designed for use on or near buildings. This new technology has been designed and developed in the UK, but will be available in the US from early 2010.

We currently only have an indicative price of $65,000 for this 6kW turbine. The turbine has been rated in a windspeed of 28mph. It will produce between 5,000 to 10,000kWhrs a year in a location with an annual average windspeed of 13mph.
